T-Line Lounge Chair by Burkhard Vogtherr for Arflex, Italy, 1980s

Designed by Burkhard Vogtherr for Arflex in 1985, the T-Line lounge chair combines a distinctive architectural silhouette with excellent seating comfort. The broad upholstered shell, curved armrests and black tubular metal base create a light, almost floating appearance.

Fully reupholstered in a premium multitone fabric by Clarke & Clarke, the chair has a refined textured finish with subtle warm tones. The generous seat and integrated head cushion add comfort while complementing the clean, understated character of the design.

A distinctive example of 1980s Italian design, balancing sculptural form, comfort and elegant construction.
